Lim Su Xin

Su Xin is currently a Master of Counselling (Monash University) student undergoing her placement with imPossible Psychological Services.

For her undergraduate studies, she obtained a Bachelor of Social Science (Honours) in Psychology at NUS and went on to complete a Postgraduate Diploma in Education at NIE. Prior to pursuing her Masters, she spent 8 years in the education sector working with children of varying learning needs and abilities.

Passionate about nurturing young minds, her approach is to provide a safe and structured space for her students to grow and learn more about themselves and the world around them, something she hopes to bring into her counselling work with her clients. Together with trust, respect, and empathy, she believes counselling should be a collaborative partnership between the counsellor and her client.

She aims to provide a safe and non-judgmental space for her clients to explore their issues, understand themselves better and develop skills to manage their mental health and life better. Under supervision in the practice, she will draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Schema Therapy to create a personalized counselling experience to empower her clients to grow and heal.

Su Xin is also interested in wellness practices such as sound healing and practices yoga to keep her mind and body strong. She enjoys crocheting, baking, and solo travelling.
