Senior Counsellor

Master of Counselling

Alexis holds a Master of Counselling from Monash University. She is also a Registered Counsellor and Clinical Member with the Singapore Association of Counselling (SAC) and an accredited ISST Advanced Schema Therapist internationally.

Since 2018, Alexis has been counselling children (10+), teenagers and adults in schools, community and private settings.

Alexis is familiar with the Integrated Programme in local independent schools and IB programme in international schools. She specialises in giftedness and self-harm in children and adolescents. Other clinical issues that she support include mood disorders, disordered eating and interpersonal challenges. She understands how children and adolescent development has its unique set of challenges and works closely with parents and schools to better support the young person.

With adults, Alexis specialises in chronic anxiety and burnout in high-functioning corporate executives. Other clinical issues that she works with includes mood disorders, workplace and relationship challenges.

Therapeutic Approach Alexis adopts a person-centred and collaborative approach with her clients. Whenever appropriate, she also uses Play Therapy, Schema Therapy, Emotion-focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Chairwork dialogues with her clients.
