Gladdys has a Masters in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Edith Cowan University. She has received training in various therapy modalities (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for Children, Salutogenic Asset Focused Narrative Exposure Therapy, Narrative Therapy, Creative Arts Therapy, Play of Life, Gottman Method Couples Therapy, etc) where she takes an eclectic approach to caters to clients’ unique needs to facilitate and guide them in their journey of healing.
She has 17 years of prior experience serving in the community in the social service industry.
In her initial years she has worked in a Children’s Home where she had the opportunity to guide and provide counselling services to resident children and youth, as well as work with parents, caregivers and systems towards reintegration. She subsequently worked at two different Family Service Centres in her next 14 years. In her time there, she has worked with a wide range of clients ranging from families, couples, parents, young children, adolescences, individual adults and elderly. She was a certified Family Violence Counsellor who has helped many families work towards healthier communication, conflict management, develop healthy boundaries and increase their resources.
In her work in the community, Gladdys has conducted Parenting workshops and Parent-child activities targeted at improving family relationships, children programmes to increase social-emotional resilience, protective behaviours and conducted Rainbows groupwork for children facing grief, loss and parental divorce. She has also presented a public talk on Resilience and Self Care for a Themed event on Empowering Women.
Gladdys believes in providing a safe space for clients in a supportive, non-judgemental and affirming environment. She believes that everyone is an expert of themselves and hence with guidance to identify their strengths and resources, they will be able to gain motivation on to the next lap of their journey.
Outside of work, Gladdys enjoys travelling, exploring new places and fun activities with her family. She is currently interested in Ballet Fitness, Aerial Yoga and loves sewing clothes for her two children.

ImPossible Psychological Services is located along Joo Chiat Road. The clinic is on the second floor of a shophouse directly above Joo Heng Restaurant. The area is famous for its iconic shophouses and for being a food haven. However, a strategic location of our entrance provides a safe and private environment for our clients.
