Callista Yin

Callista completed her Bachelors of Arts (Honours) in Psychology at Yale-NUS College. Prior to this, she obtained a Diploma in Applied Drama and Psychology from Singapore Polytechnic. Callista has an interest in enabling youths to effectively navigate the mental health challenges they face in their daily lives.

Over the past 5 years, Callista has worked with youths from diverse backgrounds across Singapore as a volunteer facilitator and coach. Most recently, Callista has been trained as a peer counsellor and crisis responder to support her on-campus community as a then undergraduate student. Her experiences have led to the firm belief that every individual has the potential to thrive given the right tools and support.

In future, Callista hopes to pursue her Masters in Clinical Psychology, She aims to be able provide support to clients with mental health issues as a skilled clinical psychologist, and to engage in advocacy work in Singapore. Presently, she is gaining supervised experience at ImPossible Psychological Services.

When not working, Callista can be found dabbling in her hobbies of dance, crochet, and other arts & crafts!
